Langer Fly In 2002

The 2002 Fly-in was blessed by fine, dry and warm weather, making camping a pleasure. All those who turned up, (and that meant shedloads) had a superb weekend of flying. Every type of model showed off its best performance, meaning that there was something to look at all the time, even if you were not flying. The whole weekend was a complete success, apart from Steve Johnsons Schmelok, which had problems during a glider tug operation (Looking forward to seeing your pink one, Steve!)

A short shower stopped the flying for half an hour. But as soon as it passed flyers were ready to make use of the great facilities here. Nobody wanted to miss their slot!!
