The 2003 Fly-in was very well attended despite the poor weather conditions. The forecast was worse than the actual weather (as usual) however, there were many outbreaks of rain, and it was very, very windy!, nevertheless many models, from large Typhoons to small Flair SE5A's managed to fly in the windy conditions. TX control was operated by Alan Brown, Bob Thompson and David Page. Many thanks to all who helped at the weekend. Old models, and brand new models were flown to there highest performance at the site here at Langar. Many people turned up, from all over the country, the west coast of Wales being the farthest. |
