ALL ITEMS ABOVE AVAILABLE FROM HOBBYSTORES BEESTON

Radio equipment and motor combo.
We have used BRC Hobbies for all the gear on the original Gee Bees.
The kit was designed around the cheapest budget gear available and still has great performance!

IF YOU WISH TO USE YOUR GEE BEE IN THE CONTEST AT THE LANGAR MINI FLY_IN IN SEPTEMBER, YOU MUST USE THE MOTOR BATTERY COMBO AS BELOW!

BRC184 TOWERPRO 2408-21T                 £12.00
BRC190 LiPo BATTERY 13003s 11.1 volt £13.99

Any 9gram servo will do, but we used BRC 689 9grm Hi Torque Servos (3 required) £3.99 each.

Any receiver will do but if you want a micro full range Rx you won’t do better than BRC 318 Corona 6ch micro Rx £12.99 (micro crystal required!)

The free 8”x 4” prop supplied with the motor combo is a bit draining on the LiPo, so we are using GWS 7”x 3.5 Hyperdrive propeller, still plenty of power but more forgiving on the battery.

Below are some photos of our Gee Bees so you can see how the links and radio gear are positioned and hooked up.
